I haven't been on Reach since you told me to check it out.

Did you change the gametype to CTF during Forge? That might have something to do with it.

My CTF map now works flawlessly. I'm dabbling with the Assault map but having trouble. Perhaps it's because I'm only one player and there's no enemy team and that's not allowing me to plant the bomb. I set the plant spots as "AS_Goal" and made them team specific...but wouldn't let me plant in a custom game.

now, I just need to work on weaponry. Should there be a sword? I have shotguns, of course, needle rifles, carbines...but I need to add more normal shit. A lot of editing is required for the weaponry. Then I'll remake all my objective maps.

Well, my Alpha 1 map is pretty much ready. I gotta adjust the needler clip settings and then add CTF and Assault. Otherwise, it is ready. We will have to test it this Friday.

Also, Alc's Techno Tombs has inspired me to do my own creepy map. I'm going to make a graveyard infection map!

I haven't been online much this week due to exams and tests then doing a side job with a friend.

Alpha 1 was pretty fun just playing with Alc. I'm hoping to give it a test run with you guys tonight if I'm sober enough LOL We have a final in Chassis class today and this teacher's been a fucking bum so, we're all ready to drink it out of our memory. LOL

My Water Buffalo is nowhere near completed and not ready to be shown at all. I'm going to resize the map so it's slightly smaller. the width of the tanker seemed to be OK but I think it's a little too wide. Essentiantially, the tanker is three Colosseum walls wide. It's pretty friggin big for a ship because you need to imagine the LENGTH of the thing, too. LOL

LOL... yeah that's about how long it took me, and that's with doing the last boss fight like 20 times because the game cheated and my buttons would not work.. I literally would sit there pressing every button over and over and the dumb fucker just sat there and got hit by all those stupid clones and died

#1. This is not the TFU thread.
#2. I've only heard bad reviews about that game, including Yahoo's Top 10 big flops in which it listed TFU 2 and cited it's horrible game play issues AND horribly short game time of 5 hours.


Worked on my Alpha 1 this morning. It's nearly ready. I want to add more spawn points in various locations because even though I have quite a bit out there, I want more options. I also worked out the CTF and that is finished for the final map. I'm going to make the assault part and it's completed.

Also, I may not get online tonight as my g/f's mom is here.

We were here originally as a Halo clan, not TFU. I give a fuck because I enjoy discussing map ideas. I'm fine talking about an off topic subject on the side but at least also discuss what maps you are enjoying, forging, etc.



ON SUBJECT: New Noble Maps are coming out. I'm gonna preorder them through gamestop to get some rewards points. Not sure what to make of them from the previews I've seen...

actually, that is a realistic fact. Kinda crazy, but it is. I talked with an FBI investigator who carries a .357 Magnum snub nose and she says it is more accurate.

We should have saved clifflund after our hide and seek match, cause now the bridge is back to normal I think...

I was debating doing a church style map. I wanted to do an infected map with a church and graveyard. I think that would be really cool.

Not sure exactly which one you're talking about, though if you were to make it it would be accurate to real life too, one of my friends had gone to italy, and he said that all those main areas of interest looked exactly the same.

The main cathedral, the tallest one in the game! the big ass white one where the entire inside is filled with platforms which, you have to jump up to, climb ladders, jump across beams, and scale walls to find the secret chamber way up in the top of the spire to get another Seal. That would be an EPIC freakin' map to create for an invasion game...hell, any game! LOL

I had a similar idea for my map, but there would have to be a megaton of jet pack usage.

I was thinking of implementing teleporters in the place of ladders, since there are no ladders in halo LOL And you can make all types of beams and scaffolding. Plus, just adjust the gravity settings so you can jump a little higher than usual.
