I have too much free time and there's not a whole lot of options for my free time Sad

so I'll be ranking up fast as I drown my sorrows in video games.

I'm really starting to hate how expenive everything is getting, I mean tactical/hard case is 40,000. Yes, 40,000 for what is essentially a fanny pack.

I don't understand the credit cap...completely bullshit. If you're playing legit, you deserve every credit and shouldn't be penalized for playing their game all day.

It's to keep people from ranking up too fast too early, from what I've seen. That and the rank cap (you can only get to Lt. Colonel as of yet).

Yeah Red, the reason is so that people can't boost in campaign/score attack all day. you will probably never reach the credit cap if you just play multiplayer

Then don't need to have points earned towards armor upgrades for campaign missions UNLESS you are doing the daily/weekly challenge. Why have it? Of course ppl are going to spaminate it for cR. But if you're playing multiplayer and firefight then I don't see a reason for putting a cap on it. You're playing the game by the rules established by BUNGIE, so why is there a cap?

Sure, rank doesn't mean much in Reach, but I don't think Bungie wanted everyone just boosting to get the highest rank and then get bored because they think they've done it all. I believe that they're trying to discourage boosting as much as possible so people will actually just play the game rather than going into score attack over and over.

And on another note, the GUNGNIR knees aren't fully attached to the player model, they just kinda hover there, but you wont notice it if you aren't purposefully looking for it.

I KNOW WHY THEY FUCKING DID IT. As stated previously, it's BULLSHIT. Don't give people the ability to get the cR's by playing the game the way it's supposed to be played only to not allow ppl to get all the cRs they can. So what if people have no lives and play the game all day.

Think about it: Bungie puts a cap on the highest rank you can achieve atm. This means if you have no fucking life then you're gonna do all you can sooner and have to wait till the next update. So people will just play something else. So, Bungie limits how much credits you can earn in a day. Given the fact that most normal gamers can't attain that many cR's in a day it's not a big deal to us, but it is attainable since it's been noticed by Bungie enough so to cause them to cap the cR's. Why create a game where you can earn points for playing the game by the rules only for the devs to limit your potential? It's bullshit. Just let players play the game.

But in all seriousness, I don't really see any problem with it, though my views are certainly not the views of all. It is likely that the rank cap at least will be increased in the patch on October 10th.

But back to armor, I've found the Operator helmet with UA/HUL to be rather epic with a silver visor, I just don't know why they couldn't just have a variant of it with NO attachments whatsoever...oh well. I also purchased the hard case utility, it's a small, but very nice addition to the whole set, and it actually looks better than all the other utilities I've seen in game, but that is most likely because of my black and white color scheme.

LOL like I said before, Bungie just can't make all the helmets look super awesome; they have to add one little piece that ruins it. I wish the Recon was a plain Recon...it's starting to annoy me but I'm not spending my cR's on anything right now. Which, btw, i have 120k now.

I really like the idea of the JFO with a blacked out visor. Not to steal Anson's idea, but I'll probably go with that.

I was pissed, though, that when I reached Warren Grade 2 that nothing else was revealed....*sigh* I want to see the commando helmet! All the pictures online are shitty.

You really only get new stuff in the armory when you reach a new rank set (vanilla captain, major, ect.). I'm sorta liking the Mk. V, but as you said, they added a little thing that makes it only almost awesome. That fucking. Stupid. Annoying "nose" on the bottom of the visor. WHY? JUST WHY?

The Mark V MJOLNIR looks pretty epic, I might buy it when I get to Lt. Colonel, it only costs 130k and I have around 88k right now and I'm barely into the warrant officer grade 3

I played against a major grade 1 yesterday...HOLY FUCK...that guy must have no life or there's some cR glitch I don't know about yet.

Well bungie has been really dropping the banhammer on glitch exploiters, 15,000 have had their credits and armor set back to nothing and have had a varying time period where they can't earn credits.

I looked on youtube and found that people aren't really glitching but they are grinding. Apparently if you just save a game near the end of the first mission before you face that sword elite and grunts, you can just reload the saved game, finish the mission, earn 200 or so cR, and reload the saved game over and over....it's not a glitch but it is stupid.
I, personally, enjoy doing the daily challenges to get that boost in cR.

Also, the Major had EVO, Alco...

And what they're doing that's getting them banned is resetting the challenges by dropping their connection over and over again, so they can complete the same challenge around 50 times in 15 minutes, I kid you not.

I'm workin hard at finally getting Captain... I'm sooo close, when I do I'll be set for a while, I'm gonna stick with the naked ODST helmet, ODST left shoulder, recon right shoulder, and I'll switch around my body every now and then most likely... After that I think I may start saving for armor effects... though I might buy a couple things like that tac-pad or whatever it's called for my wrist
