Despite being the cheapest chest in the game, HP/HALO still remains the best looking one IMO aside from COLLAR/BREACHER.

Prior to getting EVA I always thought the EVA shoulders were ugly as sin, but they look great with the helmet. I also like the MP/Base Security shoulders for some reason, they're just so delightfully tiny and round!

I think the ODST shoulders look the coolest, but I don't want two, I have always had a fancy for having one bulky shoulder and one smaller one, hence my combining of ODST and recon, I'm like 8k credits away from captain.... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

I too love one giant shoulder pad and one tiny one, but the only giant one that I like is CQC and I have a ways to go before I can get that. I also like ODST, but the shoulder costs just aren't worth it IMO.

And trust me, becoming a captain feels GREAT.

I think my goal is to always have a surplus of credits while having armor that I like, that way, if I see something I like, I most likely will have the credits to buy it right then

Being Alc, I just buy all the armor I want that is available, and then I just buy the rest because you know me, I may hate one armor one day and love it the next. Except for jump jet, that is the one exception.

I like options, but I rarely decide I like something I hated or vice versa

I'm just gonna hold off and wait till a ton of options are available to me. I really don't care if Toast makes fun of my bare Spartan. I have the patience for it and I see no point in spending all those credits if I'm going to be changing my mind around and regretting certain decisions.

I just wish you could have like an image generator to see what you look like before you purchase armor. Kinda like trying on new clothes before you buy them...

And I respect the bare spartan, just means the guy is saving up for something big. And since when does Toast's opinions ever matter?

Epic! I'm not a huge fan of UA/Counterassault though, but wear whatever you want! It baffles me that some people change their armor based upon what's popular instead of just making a combo themselves..then again peeps do that in real life too...

I own all the chest pieces available to me, so I change that around quite a bit actually, gives me some variety. I have naked ODST head because everyone uses the first attachment and the second looks stupid... and silver visor looks just awesome...

I'm not sure on chest pieces....to be honest, at this point, the stock one is fine. The grenadier one looks ridiculously cheesy to me. It's like the guy is carrying a thermos on his chest LOL

It is pretty sweet, and as for the grenadier chest it looks more like a beer keg to me, LOL.

And those "grenades" on my chest are really my emergency ginger ale canisters

I'm back now into my phase where I can't decide on a helmet! GAH!

I dunno, what do you guys prefer: operator, EVA, or EOD?

And also, which colors should I use; white, silver, or steel?

I don't like Operator that much due to the camera crap up top. The EVA is still pretty cool with the silver visor color. I don't know what it is about the EOD in Reach but I miss the H3 EOD. I liked the EOD when it had individual lenses rather than one visor. But it still looks bad ass and can look even better if the right chest/shoulder pieces are used. I'm EOD fan over all three. The EVA is very shiny and visible, although it is cool looking as silver. The operator is just fugly.

I guess I'll stick with EOD, it's nice and subtle, like the rest of my armor. I've played a few games with EVA users and for some reason they are always a bunch of jetpack nubs who end up being very easy to headshot due to teh shininess which kinda ruins the reputation for me...and Operator is just plain meh. I've just stayed away from EOD for some time because I just feel like I'm trying to be you, red. But since you're waiting a few months to get GUNGNIR I suppose I can feel no shame :p

I don't know what happened but I don't have my flaming skull or my Recon helmet anymore...they're gone. What's weird is I still see people with recon, at least. Not sure what's going on.

I personally think of EVA when I think of alcotai... so you know what my vote is... though I also picture EOD when I think of Red, but he's bein stubborn
