I got bored saving up and blew all my credits on the blue visor, and so far I like it a lot more than I initially did (it looks great on EOD). That said, I really only want two more pieces of armor for the time being (left CQC shoulder and that CHOBHAM thigh armor).

I don't actually mind waiting with my credits. I haven't spent ANY and i'm sitting on almost 300k. I just play the game as if I what I have is what I get and pay no mind to it at all.

After endless experimentation, I've decided to stay true to my original design: bulky and awkward, but definitely Alcy (in other words, I'm white and use giant shoulder pads and a bulky chest and the sacred chrome dome). And also you certainly Have enough for GUNGNIR, red, as it's a mere 250,000 cR LOL, but it isn't buyable until Brigadier according to those with offline accounts as there's no rank cap for them. God knows when I'll get grenadier shoulders though...

It's unlocked at Commander for 85,000, which is immediately after the Lt. Colonel ranks. I've also grown warmer to the multi-threat chest because there's actually two grenades hidden under the plate, and since in my case they're actually ginger ale canisters I now view the multi-threat as a fridge for a couple frosty ones LOL. I also like the circular doohickeys around the collar of the armor, reminds me of the old EVA chest.

I have managed to make several posts without screenies, so lets break that trend!

And on a closing note, I tried out campaign matchmaking and it seems that I only get set up with a bunch of jack-offs as teammates who just fuck around or absolutely suck at campaign, which is a shame cause I'm getting around 750 cR a game.



EDIT FOR JUSTICE: Also, here's a pic of the GUNGNIR helm for ya red. Personally speaking, you'd look better with EOD.

#3 The GUNGNIR is out. It's definitely different, but not in a good way that would leave me happy. I can wait till Commander to see the Commando helmet. If I like that one over the JFO, then I've chosen wisely and patiently.

The thing that bugs me about JFO is that it has an ugly rear end. Seriously, I'm judgemental about that. That's why I like EOD a bunch in reach because it has the shnazziest rear end of them all! LOL

Commando's pretty sweet IMO, but it has the same problem as the operator in that there's no variant devoid of attachments. But the thing is the Commando looks good with ANY of it's attachments.

I still think you'd look best in EOD, but no pressure. It's not like I mention that in every other post LOL.

LOL Any pictures of JFO's back side? LOL I don't want to do the EOD, though...they betrayed the two eyes and made it one single visor. BOOOO. I like the Commando overall so I may be saving up for it if the JFO's rear isn't shapely LOL

I'm a mere 5,000 cR away from Lt. Colonel. I was hoping to hit it tonight (I just spam gruntpocalypse when I'm close to leveling up) but if I hear any more YAY!!!s and have any more flashes of confetti in my face I'll lose what remains of my sanity.

I've grown dismayed at how common EVA is...everybody's wearing it it seems...few chrome domes though. And a bunch of them wear the UA variant...seriously, it looks like a bald guy wearing a headband and almost use it in conjunction with the blue visor

Hopefully that trend will die quickly once the rank cap is lifted and all the poser EVA fans can get their stupid emile helmet, and I may swipe pilot while I'm at it to mix things up a little.

Still haven't spent a cR on anything. and now with Fallout New Vegas in my clutches, I don't think I'll be spending much time on Reach. Well, I shouldn't say that. I have my FPS cravings and my RPG cravings. So long as I don't buy Black Ops I can concentrate on Halo for FPS. LOL

I wasn't too sure about the JFO, and I was content with my chrome dome anyways, but that looks absolutely sexy. I'm not a big fan toast's robot arm, but that's just me.

In my case I got the left CQC shoulder and the collar/breacher chest so I r a happy boy. I sorta feel like a tool though for wearing the breacher chest because it seems about half of the Lt. Colonels wear it...but I love it too much to drop it. Hopefully it'll become more unique when the rank cap is lifted and peeps wear a different chest as a status symbol.

I'm not a huge fan of the arm either, but its not like I dislike it. I just wouldn't do it for myself is what I'm saying I guess.

Didn't care too much for the collar/breacher, didn't dislike it or anything, just wasn't feeling it. And the one thing about JFO that I dislike is the attachments. All it gets is forehead crap. I wish I could get a flashlight on the side like I had on my CQC helmet.

For shoulders right now I'm using EVA on the right and Security on the left. I thought Naz said something about there being a "true" security later, but thats left to be seen.

Once the rank cap is up I'll probably use Carters shoulder on my right and the smaller one Emile uses on my left UNLESS the one Emile uses with the knife (only without the knife hopefully) becomes available, in which case I'll use that and keep the Security on the left.

Until more helmets reveal themselves I'm fine with the JFO.

The actual security IS emile's knife shoulder, in fact the right security shoulder replaces your knife with emile's kukri, making it around 275,000 cR just because.

The arm is too skinny looking, so it doesn't fit with the build of the spartan, IMO.
As for the JFO, told you it was schmexy Alc. JFO with blacked out visor is tits. Maybe gold. But i will wait till I unlock Commando to see which one I like best.

Yeah, gold does look tight, but I'm gonna stick with the black.

And I dunno if I want the knife on my shoulder, you sure its not extra like the robot arm where you have to outright buy the shoulder pad first and then get the one with the knife on it? Cause I'm not sure if I want the one with the knife on it.

Unless it also replaces your knife you use during assassinations in which case that might not be so bad.

BTW Alc, where are you pulling this info from?

The prices come from peeps with offline accounts (which make credits very quickly, but they don't carry over to online) so the credibility is certainly questionable.

Its a pretty decent source for showing what's going to become available. I might end up using Security on the Left and Base Security on the right. I need to look through the helmet section to determine if I'm ever changing from the JFO helmet.

Question: Do you guys wonder why they don't make ALL the helmet modifications available for ALL helmets and let you select the two you wish to use independently? I mean, that would allow for much more customization.

I know right? And even in the hologram glitch where it throws out a spartan with random armor there are helmets with attachments that they don't possess via the armory. It really is quite irritating.

I thought the same thing but it just doesn't look meaty enough for my tastes. Maybe if it was a chaingun for an arm...
